Our volunteers are the true heart and soul of the center. Many are from the area and donate their time and talent to help the center move forward with our mission. Much of what we do can not be done without their help and we want to thank each and every volunteer that has helped us over the years.
If you are interested in donating your time to become a volunteer, contact Ryan Hueffmeier at boulder@d.umn.edu
Volunteer Opportunities
We CAN Do It!
The We Can Do It campaign is our community-based effort to recycle aluminum cans in the Duluth reservoirs area to support outdoor education and recreation at Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center.
Proceeds from the recycling effort help support the Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center.
Receptacles are located at all Duluth reservoir boat launches and Gnesen Fire Hall (corner of Rice Lake and Normanna roads).
